So the other night, Jess made an unusual comment lol. According to her she believes my brain makes the sound of "Clicking". This all came from when I was on the phone with her, and I was trying to think of something. Supposely I sat there clicking my tongue. She said whenever I think I do that lol. In comparison to most people who just sit there looking to the left or right, like they are looking into their minds. I make clicking sounds! We found it very amusing :).

Other note this program I'm starting is very challenging. I know this may make no sense, but writing it out will probably help me think about how to solve it. The basis of the program is to take our micro controllers and connect them with serial communication. One of the boards will be sending several passwords, while the second board will be saying yes or no. The words will be sent and passed into a queue. I'm not sure on how to work with that. Possible solutions are that the queue passes in letters one at a time or the entire word. Not sure about the size yet on that. Once the receiving board has the word in the queue we need to access it. My idea is to take the word from queue and put it in an array. I'm thinking this will help, because we can test the password size. If its not 8 characters we can set it to fail. This is where the big problem comes. If the word matches how to send to the sending board correct and make the light turn on. There is my brain dump! Maybe it will help me later on.

The RED RING OF DEATH has struck again! This time though not my XBOX, but Jess'. I'm very sad this week because now I have no XBOX buddy to play with. I'm hoping it will get back soon!!! Until then I promised her to only play single player games till she gets her's back.

In current news, I'm over half way through the semester. Last week was rough with 3 exams, homework, and everything else I have to get done. I did well on all my test, so I'm very happy about that. This week is very nonchalant and I hope to catch up on resting.  I need to rest up before NEKOCON.  Which reminds me I got to do photo shoot!  YES! I'm very nervous about it, I hope I don't make bad faces lol.

HELLO, EVERYONE! THIS IS JESSICA UPDATING FOR CASEY. HE'S BEEN LAZY LATELY AND HAS DECIDED TO ABANDON HIS JOURNAL. WELL, I'M FIXING THAT.

HERE'S A QUICK UPDATE ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON HIS LIFE:

1.) HE'S CURRENTLY ON FALL BREAK.
2.) SEVERAL WEEKS AGO HE TOOK ME TO THE BALLET IN RALEIGH. WE SAW MASSIVE PENIS BULGE.
3.) HE SAT WITH ME DURING MY BALLET CLASS THIS WEEK. IT WAS FUNNY BECAUSE HE HAD TO SIT IN THE GIRLS DRESSING ROOM. I'M PRETTY SURE PEOPLE LOOKED AT HIM FUNNY.
4.) HE'S RECENTLY FALLEN IN LOVE WITH GLEE. GLEE = AN AMAZING TV SHOW.
5.) HIS NEW FAVORITE DRINK IS A SALT-WATER COCKTAIL.
6.) TODAY HE DECIDED TO WEAR A FLAMBOYANT PINK SHIRT.

MAYBE IF I DO THIS ENOUGH HE'LL ACTUALLY SIT DOWN TO UPDATE THIS THING.

Fall semester has started back and doesn't seem that bad. I'm only doing 14 hours this semester slowing it down some, but I have some interesting teachers. One even invented the plasma TV and won and Emmy for it. Yeah I'm ready for him to bring that to class lol. My classes though are as follow:

ECE 301- Linear Systems

CSC 226- Discrete Mathmatics

ECE 302- Microelectronics

ECE 306- Intro into Embedded Systems (looking forward to this one, building a microprocessor then coding it!)

I apologize for any poor grammar or misspellings that may plague this journal. Summer school is finally coming to end in about a week and half. I think too much more of it I will just burn out. Next week I have homeworks do Monday, test on ECE 211 Tuesday, then prepare for final exam in ECE 220, and finally the final Exam on ECE 211 on Tuesday. So yeah, very chaotic. I know you other college people are saying well its only two classes. Well take my major and try two of the engineering courses in one summer and you'll cry. I was told when I signed up for computer engineering that it was voted one of the hardest majors at NCSU, I've come to believe that statement. This brings me to my rant! I'm really really tired of school. Like if I don't get a break soon, I'm just going to crap out. I much rather be working this summer than doing the course load. I hate ranting about it, because an old friend is always posting in their journal how work is so hard...blah blah. Like literally every time it's like how life is so bad for them. I'm always thinking if you hate how things are get off your lazy butt and do something about it. They already made poor decision by moving to a nearby city an hour away from where they work. Hmmm what idiot moves away from the job. Not too much brainstorming went into that one. Really don't feel bad for them either.

Second rant lol, my family all went to the beach this week. I don't think they really get how much it has bother me. I'm upset I couldn't go, but more upset on how they sympathize for me. I know I get to go with Jess in about 2 weeks and couldn't be more excited, I just wish my family wanted me there more. It almost feels like a punishment because I'm in school all week killing myself to get all the homework done. They all want me to come this weekend, but its just not doable. With all the test and homework on Monday and Tuesday, my days will be spent studying and working. Even coming on the weekend doesn't make the feeling depression go away. It really bothered me when my Aunts and family all left out the door and didn't bother to say goodbye. They were more concerned on saying goodbye to my dad who was going to be up there in a few hours for dinner. I probably sound like the spoiled kid, but this is my rant and I don't do many of them.

As I said I'm less than two weeks from being done. You who complains about the job and driving an hour back and forth, STOP COMPLAING! Half of your problems you created. We all got tough situations and we don't have to rant every time about it.

I'm sorry for posting this so late, but back on my spring break  Jess and I traveled down to South Carolina to visit Aunt Cathy and Penny.  And let me say we had a blast.  We're ready to go back lol.

The trip down was as much of an adventure in itself.  Jessica learned that I never eat in the car, and that rest stops need more of a warning.  I swear the thing was hidden.   Also this was Jess' first experience with the Giant Peach!    I think it kind of scared her at first.  Its really quite remarkable how dirty the thing looks and its just right off the highway.  We finally arrived around 3 on Thursday.   Once Aunt Cathy and Penny got home we began our weekend of spectacular meals!   For our first night we had the Macorine Grill.  Aunt Cathy and I found a deal where you got a salad, entree, and dessert for 10 bucks!  After that we all headed back home and went on to sleep because the drive had worn us out.

For Friday,  Jess and I slept late then finally got some break feast. Once lunch time came around I took her to one of my favorite places to eat, Atlanta Bread Company.  We both had some amazing sandwhiches.  And for dessert we grabbed a big danish and took it to Aunt Cathy at Furman.  Since this was Jess' first time down there Aunt Cathy wanted to tour her around.  We stopped by her office first and saw the server room.  Yeaaaaaaaaaah its very big lol.  After that she found us a golf cart and took us all around campus.  I wish State could be more like Furman in having fountians and trees everywhere.   I think the coolest part of the tour was when we walked into one building and i saw all these glass jars and snakes where in them!   Finally Aunt Cathy showed us the rose garden, they weren't in bloom yet, but you could tell it was going to be really pretty.

After visiting Aunt Cathy we went to pick up Watchmen tickets for tonight's showing!  Once everyone got home we all embarked on the adventure for Watchmen lol.  For Jess and I it was an amazing movie.  But the whole time I kept worrying if Penny and Aunt Cathy were going to like it.  Espically the long akward scene lol.  I swear it seem like it went on for 5 minutes.  I just wanted to crawl out of my seat lol.  Again we got home tired and headed on to bed.  

Saturday was probably our busiest yet the best day.  Jess' loves downtown areas of big cities, and Greenville has a huge downtown that the city has put money into restoring.  It was a beautiful day too!  We got down there and wanted to go eat at the Mellow Mushroom.  To get there you we had to walk a bit.  We walked through some of the best parks I've ever seen.  They had waterfalls, rolling hills of grass, and tons and tons of puppies.  Penny and Jess were having a puppy overload.  We made it to Mellow Mushroom and it was really nice actually!  I got a Cheese Calzone, while they got a special spinach pizza.  It looked really good.  Once we finished eating we traveled the downtown.  I really don't think I can explain how cool this place was. Its somewhere you really need to visit.  My favorite areas were the art area where you could walk in studios of artist and just watch them, and the old hotel that was completely marble lol.  I loved too see all the old buildings.  Jess went to a few shops, I think she really like the vintage clothing one.  She bought a cool hat for winter and some new sunglasses that pwned all other sunglasses lol.  

We stayed for a few hours shopping, getting milkshakes, and looking around till we decided to finally go.  We stopped by Furman next to see the Japanese Garden and the actually building/shrine.  The building was meant for a man who lived here for him and his family to be buried in.  But he donated it to the school.  They took it down in Japan and imported here and rebuilt the whole thing.  It was a really cool building, and they were telling us they are planning on have the Japanese classes in it.  I really like the garden too.  I think i could have just sat there for the rest of the day lol.  After touring the garden, it was time to make Jessica drive the Prisus!   I don't think she wanted to but we got her too!!!   She did an excellent job, but she doesn't know this yet....next time we're going to make her do it again ;-)

For dinner that night, I got to eat at P.F. Chengs for the first time.  I had never had so much food in my life before.  I think we could of just order one meal and we all eat off that.   I tried the Mongolian Beef and really liked it.  I also tried the the lettuce wraps.  They were very good too.  After dinner we stopped by Best Buy and Barnes and Noble and got a magazine with Rorschach!  We were all really tired at this point, it was a long but exciting day.  

Sunday was our leaving day,  we got up and met Aunt Cathy and Penny at a special breakfeast place.  Supposely they have some of the best pancakes in the world lol.  And they do, I recommend the blueberry or sweet potatoe.   After eating with them we started our travels home.  That was our vacation in a nutshell lol.

Over the weekend Jordan finally had her Sweet Sixteen! I think she had a lot of fun and everyone that came got along well. Afterwords though I think I got the bug. I'm sure everyone has heard or seen the bug going around, well do whatever you can not to get it. Sunday morning, and I mean like 2 in the morning, I woke up with the chills. Ugh its a horrible feeling. Once my dad woke up he went ahead and took me to the ER. Now this is where it was really weird...lol. Everyone knows that when you go to the ER expect to wait forever just to go back. When we got there, they took us on back. It weird but made me happy. They got me a bed to laid down in while I waited for a doctor. I still had the chills and fever then. It took me all of Sunday to finally break "The Fever." Luckily they gave me a Z-pack, so I've started to feel much better.

AAAAAAAAAAAND.... on a side note! I finished my first programming assignment for my C programming class. The instructions required us to write code asking for a magnitude and period then print out a sine graph with "*". Looking something like this:

Although that doesn't look hard, its hard to tell a computer to print this using some weird language of syntax.

I apologize deeply for not writing in so long. My muse had just left me and decided to never come back. I'm back in school now with 15 credit hours. It doesn't sound like much, but on top of that I have 12 hours of lab. So Yeah I'm sticking to the 15! School is school as of now. Not too hard yet, but next week my first test comes up in Physics. I'm really excited about finishing Physics and Calculus up this semester. No mamn needs to understand how to draw in 3D on a piece of paper..lol. As for my other two classes they relate to my major. One is understanding circuit design, signals, and analog. I would have to say this is probably my hardest class. The teacher is just ok and the material can be very hard to comprehend. Although labs do seem fun until the lab reports come. Not looking forward to writing papers 10-20 pages :(. On the plus side, I do get to build a power supply for my hardware design project! My other class is ECE 209, which is about understanding the language C and how to write it in Assembly. It's funny how as computer engineers we have to understand how the code affects the architecture not just how to write it.

Everything though is going well so far. My room looks very nice and my room mate is a 100x better!!! But not to worry I still have more to write about. This past week I get a picture message from Jess telling me she found baby T-Rex. LOL well she wasn't joking. At Food Lion back at home they had this huge stuff animal dinosaur. It was amazing! Her mom wouldn't let her buy it. So when I got home that weekend we made a trip to go buy it. I know we had to look like absolute fools carrying that thing up there. That's why I made her do it. I so mean ;-). I know everyone reading really doesn't get the humor in Baby T-Rex, but it makes me laugh till my side hurts. He now currently resides on my bed at home guarding all my possessions. I'm trying to think now if there is anything else I need to write about. Oh Yeah!! I wanted to thank you again Jess for helping move in. You decorated and setup my DVD's perfectly :-D. I'm glad you came and it really did make it much easier moving.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUGH ECE 200, not a fun course :(.

This I had to think about for a few minutes. Then it hit me! What better story to write than one about my life. I came up with, "He was clumsy, so he fell." When I read this story all I can think about is my life. Anyone who knows me, knows that once a week I will get hurt. Seriously, got hit by car one time! That is my six word story. Enjoy!

This is just precautionary ;-). But for news I did finish work Friday!!! Now I get a whole week off before school starts back.

OK....seriously words can not describe how EPIC Projekt Revolution was today. I'll make sure to write a lot about it tomorrow. To make everyone jealous though, here are few things that happen.

OH YEAH DOUBLE ENCORE...YEAH YOU HEARD ME...DOUBLE!!!

OK, so this afternoon I saw The Dark Knight again and as Jess said it earlier, it was Legen....wait for it dary! OMG I love this movie~! I think I could literally sit there all day and watch it over and over. Dad was teasing me earlier saying how he wanted to go back to IMAX tomorrow.

Again, I reiterate this movie is the best film I've seen so far this year. All fans of Batman and comic book fans need to see it. And all comic films need to take a lesson from this movie. When you watch it you never feel a dull moment. Nolan the awesome director he is, never went over the line with too much action. He tells an amazing story involving 3 very different characters. Also Nolan did an awesome like OMG WTF BBQ moment with one of the characters. I was like noooooo. It was a nice twist to the story. Now after watching the movie twice, Jess and I have decipher some stuff. First is they made a strong reference to Catwoman. We believe this is just for us comic book nerds so we can have a fanboy moment..lol. Then a possible villain, the Riddler! If you pay attention to the man who confronts Fox about Batman's identity he is Mister Reese which is like Mystery. He could also be the news anchor Mike Engel, which is one of his alias. I'm leaning more to the black mailer because in the comic The Riddler learns who Batman really is but ends up forgetting. Those are my geeky fanboy moments. Now I'm just ready to go back and see it again. I really want to see it in IMAX again, it's just not the same in regular theaters. The speakers need to be so loud that I feel the gun shots!

This will be short because I'm really tired from seeing Dark Knight last night, but the movie was EPIC!!!! And I don't say this lightly. It has to be the best movie I've seen all year and one of my favorite movies now. The Joker couldn't have been any better. He was crazy, dark, and funny all at once. If you get the opportunity to see the movie in IMAX don't miss out. Its amazing!!!! When you hear gun fire you feel like you are getting shot lol. I'll post more about the movie tomorrow, I just need some sleep. Can't wait to see it again tomorrow!!!!!!!

Posting really fast again so the nudges will stop.  I was going to write about this later with a a full review, but I beat Metal Gear Solid 4 Monday!!!!  Overall, I was very happy with the game and the ending was just a WOAH.  Not going to talk about it though, because I don't want to spoil anything.   

On another note, I seem to be missing my PS3....lol. 

One day left of summer class!!!!   I feel like it dragged on forever.  I just want to come home and stay for a bit.  The exam for Chemistry will on Tuesday of next week.  Hopefully I will do good.  Fun part is moving all my stuff out tomorrow.  Bad part is I have to do it by myself.  The joy!

On  a side note, Metal Gear Solid 4 came out.  The reason why I wanted my PS3.  All I can say is the game is amazing.  My aunt had ordered the game for me, but it  wasn't going to ship till Monday.  I did the next best thing, rented it!  Best part about when I went to rent it, I got it for free.  After getting it I took the PS3 to Jessica's house and we spent basically the whole weekend playing.  I feel kind of bad now though, she really really wants a PS3 now...lol.  I've gotten pretty far through the game, and hope to beat it soon.  I'm setting the goal maybe by Monday. 

That's my update, sorry it isn't much.  I have to go now and start packing all my stuff!!!!

Also once I beat the game, I'll try to post my thoughts about  it.  I'm ready to talk to about what has happened so far with someone.... *looks at Jess*
